Minneapolis, a city lying on the bank of Mississippi River, is one of the largest states in Minnesota. It serves as the county seat for Hennepin Country. It adjoins Saint Paul, the capital of the state, and together they are known as the Twin Cities. The Twin Cities is the 15th largest metropolitan area in USA. This area resides over 3.5 million people within its premises. According to 2005 census, the population of Minneapolis was over 373,000 people approximately.

The NWA Minneapolis Wresting and Boxing Club, presently known as the American Wrestling Association, used to operate in Minneapolis after 1960 till 1990s.
